  Don't miss the onion rings or the prime rib sandwich.
  
  Nicole is genuine Jersey and good service with beauty never hurts.

  The half sub literally made four meals for me so yes, believe it when everyone says they are that big. Too much food and I only got the half. No clue what a full sub would feed. An Army? lol This would be a great place to go with your three friends and share a sub. It would make for a cheap meal if you do it that way. Perhaps they can add on to the menu a smaller sandwich option for individual guest visits. The half sub fed me three times and my leftovers to Dad. However, as we know Subs do not really make for good leftovers. Soooooo, it was way too much food for us and I am a big eater.
  
  The pub is very east coast in attitude and food. Expect to hear some inappropriate bar talk while you are there. hahaha!
  
  I originally stopped in only to get a Knish but they do not offer nor serve them anymore. Shucks ( Add a Thanos finger snap of disappointment here)
  
  I ended up getting an Ocala. The sandwich was packed with a lot of items so it was such a great big, delish of a mess. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Ha! It tasted great. Leave your dainty girly, girl manners at home folks. It will get messy folks. Down and dirty eats. I could not even fold over my sandwich with a half and that even being cut in half.  Enjoy!
  
  Ocala lacks good non chain eateries so try it and see if you like it. It is always important to support local if you can. On a side note. I loved all the license plate decorations and theme too.

  This place ROCKS!
  We took snow-bird friends of ours here for dinner. It was their first, but not last, visit.
  Rod ordered Guinness Black & Tan onion rings with that unique dipping sauce for all to share. Super.
  Rod & Pat had coneys Tom had The Bronx Bomber "excellent" and I had I-95 inter-steak "perfect". Both had sides of coleslaw.
  Service from Nicole was very good.
  My sandwich was large enough that I had 1/2 left for lunch today...can't beat that.
  My brother Allen mailed down a license from Minnesota for Turn-Pike Mike's addition to their decor  (Meaningful!) I'm looking forward to seeing it on the wall.

  I sought a suggestion from the Ocala Word of Mouth (restaurant) and after all the comments, we settled on Turnpike Mike's. We checked out the menu on our drive to the restaurant (okay, my wife checked, I drove, hands at 10 and 2) and had an idea what we wanted.
  
  Holy smokes! We were NOT prepared for how HUGE these sandwiches were!! Lorraine definitely took care of us! Wow! To say we were impressed would be a slight understatement. We had the Jersey Joe (it's like a foot tall!), the Carolina Dog, the Garden State, The Chicago, Jersey Club and the Fish & Chips (I think it was the entire fish!) and we left with FIVE take home boxes. Amazing food. Great flavor. The onion rings were fabulous!
  
  We ordered a take-home sandwich for our son who was not able to make it before closing time. It looks like a deli order! It's huge!
  
  We will be back!

  Christina, thank you for your concern and comment!  Nice to know owners care.  We have been back, and as always is delicious.... cannot wait to try the Dunnellon location
